This Privacy Policy explains what information BlackBird Armament, LLC (“BlackBird Armament,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use blackbirdrifles.com, fleoa.blackbirdrifles.com and our other websites (the “Site”), or when you buy from us, and exactly how that information is used and protected.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us when you place an order, join a pre-order list, contact us, request warranty service or sign up for our newsletter:

• Your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.
• The name, address and contact details of the FFL dealer you choose for a firearm transfer.
• For FLEOA member offers, your FLEOA member number, so we can confirm your membership.
• Your order details, and any messages, notes or warranty information you send us, including product serial numbers.

Payment information. Card payments are handled directly by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site: basic technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and cookies (see Section 5).

2. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• Process, build, ship and deliver your order, and arrange the transfer through your FFL dealer.
• Confirm your eligibility for an order, including FLEOA membership for member offers.
• Send you messages about your order, pre-order, shipment or warranty.
• Answer your questions and provide customer and warranty service.
• Protect our customers and the Site against fraud, spam and security threats.
• Meet our legal, tax and firearms record-keeping obligations.
• Keep the Site working and understand, in aggregate, how it is used so we can improve it.

We send newsletters or product announcements only if you sign up for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

We do not sell or rent your personal information; share it with anyone for their own marketing; use it for targeted or cross-site advertising; or build profiles about you for any purpose other than filling your order.

3. When information leaves BlackBird Armament

We never share your information for marketing. Some information must reach a small number of parties to complete your purchase or run the Site. They may use it only to provide that service to us:

• Payment processing: WooPayments (powered by Stripe) processes card payments securely.
• Shipping: UPS or FedEx receive the delivery name and address needed to ship your order.
• Your FFL dealer: the dealer you choose receives the information needed to complete your transfer, as required by federal law.
• Website hosting and security: our hosting provider (Hostinger), WordPress/Jetpack and Akismet store the Site and protect it against spam and attacks.
• Email and order records: our email and order-management tools (Mailchimp and Zoho) store order and contact records so we can send order emails and keep our records, and send newsletters only to people who sign up.
• Legal requirements: we disclose information when the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena, court order, or a firearm trace request from the ATF or law enforcement, or when needed to protect someone’s safety.
• Business transfer: if BlackBird Armament is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who must continue to protect them under this policy.

4. FLEOA pre-orders

Pre-order forms on fleoa.blackbirdrifles.com are emailed directly to BlackBird Armament and kept in a private record on our server. They are used only to verify FLEOA membership, hold your place in line, and contact you about your order. We do not share them with anyone outside BlackBird Armament, except the FFL dealer you choose and the services listed above that are needed to complete your purchase. That page does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

5. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use:

• Essential cookies that make the Site work, such as remembering your cart and checkout, your age verification, and security protections.
• Analytics (Google Analytics, through MonsterInsights, and Jetpack site statistics) that tell us, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages they view, so we can improve the Site.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run targeted ads using your information. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential features such as the cart may not work without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no sale or sharing for these signals to stop. We do not track you across other websites.

6. How long we keep information

We keep order, transfer and warranty records for as long as needed to fill your order, support your Lifetime Warranty, and meet legal, tax and firearms record-keeping requirements. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. How we protect your information

The Site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payments are processed by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers. Access to customer records is limited to the BlackBird Armament team members who need it to fill orders and support customers. The Site is protected with a firewall, malware scanning, login protection and regular security updates. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

8. Your privacy rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete your information, except records we are legally required to keep, such as firearms transfer, warranty and tax records.
• Stop sending you newsletters or marketing emails.

Depending on where you live, including California, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and other states with privacy laws, you may have these and other rights under state law. Because we do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of, but we will honor any valid request. To make a request, email Info@BlackBirdArmament.com or call 833-BLK-BIRD. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time required by law. You can use an authorized agent, and we will never treat you differently for using your privacy rights. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.

9. Children

The Site is intended only for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and never from children under 13. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Other websites

The Site may link to other websites, such as FLEOA.org or event sites. Their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we will tell you before it takes effect.
